Various Again

Break

Finished this last week of exams. Apparently we decided to have a meeting of some sort on monday, though, so not quite at the break yet.

MOOII

Found that that spying race that eventually evolved to be quick-enough to mostly not need spies can become considerably faster if its spying bonuses are removed. So now it’s just a blisteringly fast race that’s bad at science but sacks everybody else before they have a chance to get too far ahead technology-wise.

Bugs

So, recently I’ve seen a couple of two-and-a-half-inch-long grasshopper-things around. I was pretty impressed.

Also, the computer lab at my school has been visited by praying manti of a couple of different types, neither of which are the stick-bug-resembling type that visited a window at my house back in the day.

And finally, a second alien freak/African cave spider/tailless whip scorpion showed up in my bathroom. This one was a bit smaller than the first, showed up in the morning missing one of its whip-things, and had died by the time I got back home from school in the afternoon.
